When it comes to international politics Switzerland’s reputation is historically that of strict neutrality.
While surrounded by conflict, Switzerland managed to avoid direct involvement in the fighting of both World Wars.
Switzerland has not aligned itself with any military alliances such as NATO.
Without taking sides in disputes, Switzerland maintains economic and trade relations with countries on all sides of various conflicts.
Naturally, when the issue of CoVid reared its ugly head, the citizens of Switzerland expected a typical – neutral – response.
But what happened next was no less than shocking:
Protesters fined and threatened with jail time
CoVid “certificates” required to access public spaces and services
Elderly left to die alone with no family
Young children denied critical access to healthcare (resulting in lifelong disabilities which were easily preventable)
At least one case of a doctor literally being institutionalized for 3 days – and forced to take certain drugs as a condition of their release – simply for making a Facebook post that criticized the government’s response to CoVid
In the video below, Canadian correspondent Paul Morrison interviews Switzerland’s Josef Ender, spokesperson of the anti-CoVid group “Action Alliance Urkantone,” about his experiences on the frontlines of the Swiss CoVid resistance.
